"You hand us a list and agents do the work" sounds simple. People reasonably want to know what that looks like in practice. Here's a typical week, using an example list for a small home services business.
The list
Lists are usually messy, and that's fine. A first list might look like this:
- Our website still says we serve a town we stopped serving last year
- We need blog posts but nobody has time to write them
- I don't know if our Google Ads are working
- The CRM is full of duplicates
- I want one place to see leads, calls and ad spend
- Can we move off our old website builder?
The weekly meeting
We go through the list together and decide what matters most this week. Quick fixes go first because they clear space. Then we pick one or two bigger items to start. Big projects, like a site migration, get broken into pieces that fit in a week.
During the week
I turn each item into clear instructions and put agents on them. Several run at the same time. One fixes the service-area pages. One drafts blog posts from a list of topics we agreed on. One reviews the Google Ads account and writes up what it finds. One starts deduping the CRM.
I watch the runs, redirect when something goes sideways, and check every result. Anything wrong gets fixed before you see it.
What gets delivered
By the next meeting, you see finished work. Pages updated. Posts ready or published. A plain-English write-up of what's happening in the ad account. A clean CRM. And a status on the bigger projects: what's done, what's next.
When the list is bigger than a week
It usually is, and that's the point. There's no task cap. But every task still needs direction and a review, so each week we take on what a week allows and roll the rest forward. If you hand us 40 hours of work in week one, we'll take a big chunk out of it and keep going. Nothing gets dropped.
Week two and beyond
Recurring work, like the dashboard refresh or a weekly report, gets set up once and runs on its own. That frees up room on the list for new things. Over a few weeks, the backlog that's been sitting there for a year starts to disappear.
